go-to summer hairstyle⛓️‍💥 • ib: @Sophie Hannah & @Sara Croft Hat I made ib a hat I saw @andreadream style ____ ✖️Products: • 2 packs of pre-stretched braiding hair (beauty supply/ amazon) • Elastic bands (or stronger ponytails) • Ribbon (Micheal’s) • Safety pins (Amazon) • Hairspray + a brush ____ ✖️Step by step: • part hair down the middle & clip the one side out of the way • take a small section of hair on top near the center (I added 1 single extension for length) and pin away for now • slick down all the hair on top & back • tie hair into a low pony • grab 1 bundle of braiding hair (you’ll need two for both braids) • tie an elastic (or ponytail) around the middle of it • tie that around your pony and pull your hair through • divide all the hair, mixing your own and the synthetic hair together, into 3 sections then braid (Tip: for loose ends try to twist the braiding hair overtop of your own to tuck it into the braid or add a bobby pin later) • secure with an elastic • back to that front section, braid that as well (Tip: for thin braids like this, I wet my fingers as I braid so it stays tight, then secure the bottom with hairspray) • take any size ribbon and tie into a bow around the top of the braid • add safety pins randomly throughout • repeat everything on the other side! ___ ⛓️‍💥Jewellery: @Regalrose • FORTUNE. sharing one of my failures 🤷🏻‍♀️ • I tried following the gorgeous @Sarah Palmer Pageboy tutorial and to be honest I don’t think I have enough hair for it 😂 I figured that out halfway, decided to just stop and do a regular brush out. Might be because I have a little bit of layering or my hair isn’t u shaped enough, but I’m determined to get it one day! I might need to try less rollers? Or work in sections when brushing out.
