I hope we never forget these sweet little days together ❤️ My son Abide’s favorite things right now are his toy cars, so when we went to the park and stumbled upon a car show in the field, we were so excited!!! We got to look at every car together, and one of the hosts was even kind enough to let him sit in his big truck. Living in the days I prayed for ❤️🥹 Baseball was the first sport I ever tried, and even to this day I remember my first glove and tball set I had. Living in the days I prayed for ❤️🥹 Growing up, baseball was the first sport I ever picked up. I wasn’t very good, but I remember having a red hat I designated as my baseball hat that I wore all the time, and little glove. Oh these are the days ⛳️🥹 I took my son to our local sports shop to test out and buy his first golf club. He pulled this one off the shelf along with a bucket of balls, paid for it then went back to the putting green in the store to try it out. I’m telling you, the kid is a natural at every sport he tries. I’m trying to let him try every sport so that as he grows he can choose the sport that fits him best. These little everyday moments are the biggest blessings ❤️🥹 As the husband and father of my house I take very seriously the responsibility of providing. But, I’ve learned that I am not just responsible to financially provide but to also be consistently present. The first of many more ⚽️❤️ This day, I bought Abide (my son) his first soccer ball, and we went to our local park for some father and son soccer practice. ✨ Soccer is special in our household, because my wife’s biological dad was a professional soccer player…. so maybe it’s in our son’s DNA to play. 🧬⚽️ I personally didn’t get to play soccer growing up, but I want him to get experience playing all sports, so he can find best fit for himself. The best little helper 🪛🥹 One thing I love to doing is to ask my son Abide to help me with projects around the house. It is a really special way for us to bond as father as son, and for my hin to learn practical life skills and build confidence. It is so sweet to watch him learn how to use tools and to see how proud he is of himself when we finish the project together.
