Today's #FridayFeeling goes out to 10cc with one of my favourites, "I'm Not in Love". It was the band's breakthrough hit in 1975. Still sounds as sweet today as it did then. Here, they perform with the BBC Concert Orchestra. Full clip: BBC Music YouTube. Have a great weekend, everybody! #throwback #10cc #music #imnotinlove #70s

#FridayFeeling I've said it before: It’s impossible to describe how much Chet Atkins influenced me as a young #guitarist. He was so diverse in his talent, that it taught me an incredible range. Let’s head back to 1954 and kick off the weekend with the sweet sound of “Mr. Sandman". Have a good one everybody! #ChetAtkins #guitar #fingerpicking #music #throwback #talent #legends #heroes #weekend

#AskRandy Russ Wilshusen asks: Hey Randy when was your breakup with The Guess Who and what was your reason? It must have been hard leaving a successful group who was at the top of the charts! Hi Russ, It was 1970. I had many reasons to leave and they had many reasons to want me to leave. The band hit #1 in the world and suddenly we went from making a pittance to making serious money. I stayed home and they went on without me. The primary reason at the time was gallbladder and health, rest and recuperation. I had a young family and the partying scene of the music industry was not for me. Leaving was not a popular move, I can tell you that. It was incredibly hard to get work after for about 3 years. My wife finally told me to start another band. I left in '70 and BTO didn’t get rolling until '73. But when we did, it paid off. Different sound and incredible response to the music in both airplay and sales. I was fortunate to have #1 hits in both bands. #MusicMonday #Canadian #Rocknroll #life #fypppppppp #BachmanTurnerOverdrive #theguesswho

I’ve know the Beach boys since the mid 60’s and have done lots of shows with them. They were the American answer to the Beatles. They wowed everyone with the songs, structures, vocals harmonies. The sunshine sound. I remember when Brian decided to not go on the road anymore but continued to write incredible music. They were like family. When Carl passed it was like losing a brother and it feels the same today. The band is still going today with their incredible legacy with Bruce Johnston and Mike Love. We lost one of the greatest composers and messengers who took jazz harmony, put it to a Chuck Berry beat and made a new genre of music. Some of the best singles in the world. Dennis, Carl and Brian are all together now. Other worlds to sing in. #RIP #BrianWilson #TheBeachBoys
