My boyfriend Blake knows how much I love my grandma's house. I spent a lot of time there growing up and cherish it as if it were my childhood home (especially since my parents no longer live in the home I grew up in). Yesterday I arrived there thinking we were having a casual lunch with the family before heading back to LA. After about 10 minutes of my Aunt distracting me upstairs, I came down into the kitchen where I finally saw Blake (who was supposed to be in Arizona) standing outside in the rain at the bottom of the bank. I was stunned, confused, and overjoyed all at once. He asked me to marry him in my most favorite place in front of my entire family (with his family watching on FaceTime of course).
