Trans adult performer Apollo Moon has tragically passed away aged 26 Relatives of the trans masc star, known to his friends and family as Forest Harade, announced that he had been in intensive care since Wednesday (27 November). The cause of death has not been confirmed. Moon was a prominent figure in the trans and seggs-worker communities, especially notable for being a person of colour in a white-dominated industry. Park Sung-hoon, who is widely known for his work in various K-Dramas, is set to play Hyun-ju, a trans woman who enters the deadly Squid Game in an attempt to raise money for her gender-affirming surgery. In a Meet the Cast video posted by Netflix on Thursday 5 December, the actor said that Hyun-ju is a former special forces soldier who “breaks down stereotypes and shines as an inspiring character” in the show.
