ive put my art aside for so long to make money at these jobs that drained me, i lost myself and my creativity for so long to stay afloat, waiting for an opportunity to come to become an artist. but i waited, and waited.. and nothing came. finally, i quit and started doing art again. I had a part time job lined up that would give me the freedom to make enough income and have alot of time left to still make art. i learned today that i cant work that job because my old horrible employers had me sign a non-compete. i thought i escaped them but they still had a grip on me. i began to fall in love with the passion that makes me who i am again. i felt whole again. and i’m scared ill lose it again if i give myself to a job. I’d rather work harder and longer for the same money id make working for someone else. i hope this is all a sign to keep going, that i’m meant to do this. my whole life i’ve had people tell me im gonna make it with my art. i can’t let all those people down. i would have given up by now if it wasn’t for my support team. i hope those reading stay for the journey ahead in finding my spot in the creative world. i don’t know where im going, but i hope i the path im taking ends with making art for a living like i have always dreamed of as a kid. #art #artist #illustration #comic #comics #illustrations #story #storytime #digitalart #digitalartist #sketch #sketches #wip #fyp
