🥹🥹 let me try and find the words … I am so grateful. I feel so incredibly blessed to have been chosen to be this little man’s momma. It is never lost on me what a privilege that is. It was a honor carrying him. Labor & delivery is one of the greatest challenges and blessings that I have ever experienced. This one was special. I was able to labor at home with my family until 6/7cm when we left for the hospital . We got to the hospital at 4pm, took bout 1.5 hours to check in and then had him by 7:28pm. No inductions, no drugs …. Just us. So beautiful to really feel everything. To be present , to challenge yourself, to talk to God and know that you are capable of so much. That the pain can bring an indescribable amount of joy. There is NOTHING in the world like the relief you feel when they are finally placed on your chest. 🤍 #laboranddelivery #pregnancy #birth

People always ask me if I had a doula or birthing support person and I always answer that was my husband ! He went to birthing classes with me, studied my birth plans, knew my wishes and desires and how to communicate them when I couldn’t and make decisions when I couldn’t. He kept me focused for 30 hours, changed my clothes when I needed, HECK he even wiped me when I needed, cleaned up blood off the floor and reminded me to breath when my body literally forgot. At the end he literally lifted my entire body and baby the hospital bed and back in a safe spot 🥰He never rested , he pushed me and encouraged me, snuck me bites of food 🤣🤣😬😬 I can’t imagine in the past when men were encouraged to wait in a different room! I wouldn’t have survived without me absolute ROCK! Coming up on baby #4 soon and I am so thankful I get to have him with me again!!!!
