Here we go again with another case of being selfish parents who leave their child to fend for themselves 🤣🤣 joking!!! Here’s two parents reconnecting one of our fave ways - exercising and being silly lol it works for us 💁🏼♀️
Being a mum is a wild ride, one day you’ve got your sh!t together, the next you don’t. Sometimes your baby wakes up full of beans and some days nothing will stop the whinging. Life is an unpredictable blur and if like me you’ve suffered with anxiety in your life, the biggest trigger is feeling out of control which is a given when you’re a mumma. But you’ve got to keep showing up for yourself too. Take the moments you can. Because you matter. And it makes the anxiety easier. It’s not always easy to fit it in. We all have different situations. But it’s totally okay to fill your cup, follow your dreams and look after YOU still, as well as be mum. Just wanted to share a little piece of reality in this video because you usually see the positive bits/when I’m most together and that’s definitely not always the case 🤣 life is hectic, being a mum is hard, but it’s bloody brilliant too and if I could wave a magic wand and go back to life before with 0 responsibilities where I could watch a Netflix series all day every Sunday in peace I actually wouldn’t, honestly that was one of my biggest fears about becoming a mum 🤣 but I’d trade the chaos any day cos I love my gorgeous little crazy human so much more. Life is so much richer now, hectic but richer haha. If you’re in the trenches right now/haven’t had any you time in a while/still can’t figure out who you are postpartum I just want you to know, you’re incredible, nothing is permanent, it’s a phase, you’re doing so much every day and please don’t ever give up on yourself 🤍
Making my motherhood era my strongest yet and I am HERE for it ✨✨✨ Women have no limits, we’re superhuman. You ARE allowed to do things for yourself as well as be mum. It’s not easy, but you 100% can do it. You don’t need to ‘bounce back’, I hate that saying. But you can move forwards stronger, more capable than ever, when you’re ready. It’s crazy that we’re so often led to believe that becoming a mum means it’s the end of you, your goals, your fitness levels - well I think it’s just the beginning of you. 🤍
