Perfect for mornings, after meals, or when you’re feeling under the weather. 🫖 Ingredients * Fresh Ginger (1-inch, crushed) * Fresh Turmeric (1-inch, crushed) * Black Pepper (pinch) * Cinnamon (1/8 to 1/4 tsp. or 1 stick) * Lemon Juice (from 1/2 lemon) – * Honey or Maple Syrup (1-2 tsp, optional) Instructions: 1. Boil water. 2. Crush the ginger and turmeric to release their juices. 3. Add the ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, and black pepper in a cup. 4. Pour the hot water over the ingredients and steep for 10–15 minutes. 5. Strain and let cool slightly. 6. Stir in lemon juice (and honey or maple syrup, if desired). 7. Sip slowly and enjoy your tea! When to take this tea? I like drinking it right after dinner. But can also be first thing in the morning if your stomach can tolerate it. First thing in the morning – Best for detoxing, jumpstarting your digestion, and giving your immune system a gentle boost to start the day. After a meal – Great for supporting digestion, reducing bloating, and helping your body process the food better. 📌Important: 1. If you’re on blood thinners or medication, check with your doctor, since turmeric and ginger may have mild blood-thinning effects. 2. Turmeric is fat-soluble, so it’s best to take it after a meal that contains healthy fats or with a tablespoon of MCT Oil or Olive Oil. That way, your body can absorb the curcumin more effectively. 3. Turmeric can stain your teeth so make sure to gargle or brush your teeth right away.
