Come with us to pick up some very special visitors from the airport in Mexico City! Both Xander and Izzy were born after Fidel’s deportation from the US. He has always made sure that they know him even though it was through video calls but today he is meeting them in person for the very first time! #ourjourney #livinginmexico #ourlifeafterdeportation
This year Diego found Fidel the perfect Father’s Day gift! This is something Fidel has wanted for a long time and Diego found one for sale here in our pueblo! #FathersDay #livinginmexico #ourlifeafterdeportation
My sister brought her husband and kids to visit us in our home in Mexico and this is a look at Day 1! This is also the first time Fidel has met the kids due to his deportation. #ourjourney #livinginmexico #ourlifeafterdeportation
This year Diego asked if he could do something special for the Kindergarten moms here in our pueblo for Mother’s Day. We couldn’t be more proud of him and I am grateful everyday to be his mom. #mothersday #livinginmexico #ourlifeafterdeportation
The flooring in our homebuild here in Mexico is done in two parts. Once the dirt is packed and level, Fidel and Pancho will add gravel, a moisture barrier, a rebar mesh and concrete. After that, they will install our final flooring. Stay tuned! #buildingahouse #livinginmexico #ourlifeafterdeportation
5 years ago today I posted a TikTok that changed our lives and it’s all thanks to you guys! I’ve seen this community do incredible things and my hope is that we can make Alex and Vanessa’s day in true familia fashion! Thank you to each of you for being here and being a part of our journey living here in Mexico after deportation. We love and appreciate you all! @Vanessa_and_Alex♿️ @Rafael E. / 📍🇲🇽 #ourjourney #livinginmexico #ourlifeafterdeportation
Did you know about ley seca here in Mexico? Also, this has become an every Saturday tradition at our homebuild here in Mexico! #hardworkers #homebuild #livinginmexico #ourlifeafterdeportation
Here is an update on our homebuild here in Mexico and I take you with me to run some errands in town! #homebuild #livinginmexico #ourlifeafterdeportation
#ourjourney #livinginmexico #ourlifeafterdeportation
This year for Día de los Niños we set up inflatables, took the kindergarten and elementary school lunch (Little Caesars pizza, chips, fruit and agua fresca) and gifted them all new soccer balls. We do this using the revenue we earn from our platforms. So thank you to each and every one of you for being here and making this possible. #ourjourney #livinginmexico #ourlifeafterdeportation
Almost 9 years of living here and 5 years of sharing our journey with you all and I still feel the same way. Home is where we are all together. #ourjourney #livinginmexico #ourlifeafterdeportation
