Life has a way of testing us in unimaginable ways. The Palisades fire has taken everything we called home—our entire house and all our belongings are gone. My car left behind because the LAPD told us to run for our lives as flames surrounded us on sunset blvd. Every item told a story: the photos that captured cherished moments, the trinkets passed down through generations, and the little things that made our house a home. The items purchased on trips holding beautiful memories, the fashion archive I’ve worked my entire career to pass on to my children. My wedding dress. Zach’s kids stuff. All gone. We’re grateful for the love and support of our family, friends, and community as we figure out how to rebuild—both our home and our lives. Our hearts break for our town and everyone affected. We are here to figure this out together. Hold your loved ones close, and never take the little things for granted. You never know when life might change forever. We are so grateful we made it out alive and with our animals #palisadesfire #palisades
