Crockpot Marry Me Chicken Sandwiches are an easy dinner recipe! INGREDIENTS 1 lb chicken breast 1/2 tsp each salt, pepper, oregano, thyme 1 tsp each onion powder and garlic powder 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes 1 tbsp minced garlic 1/3 cup sun dried tomatoes, chopped 1/2 cup of chicken broth 8 slices of bacon 1 block of cream cheese 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese Brioche buns INSTRUCTIONS Spray a crockpot with cooking spray and add the chicken. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, onion powder, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Next, add the minced garlic, chopped sun dried tomatoes, and chicken broth. Be sure to stir the sun dried tomatoes and garlic around. You want the sun dried tomatoes to be down in the chicken broth, so they don’t burn. Cook on low for 4-6 hours. Once the chicken is fully cooked shred the chicken, add a block of cream cheese, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Let this keep cooking on low until the cream cheese is melted and stir everything together well. Cook bacon while cream cheese is melting. Once the ground beef is fully cooked, drain any extra grease and add 1 tbsp of minced garlic. Stir well. Add 2 jars of marinara sauce and 1/2 cup of heavy cream. Next, use a large spoon to drop about 1 1/2 cups of ricotta cheese all over the first layer of the pasta. Top the ricotta cheese with half of the shredded mozzarella. Add the rest of the pasta, meat/sauce mixture, and the rest of the shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake in the oven at 375 degrees F for about 25 minutes uncovered.
